Free Christmas Printables – The Twelve Days of Christmas Song Game

I was recently asked to create some drawings for a Christmas singing party – something cheerful and interactive, where everyone could get involved in the fun.

The idea was simple but brilliant: during the classic song The Twelve Days of Christmas, different groups in the audience would hold up specific illustrations at the right moment – “…and a partridge in a pear tree…” and so on.

It’s a light-hearted way to add energy and a few laughs to a festive get-together. Whether you’re planning a school assembly, a family party, or a community event, this little addition can bring people together in a creative, silly, and joyful way.

So, I got my watercolours and pens out and hand-drew each of the twelve illustrations on A4 card and paper.

Each drawing matches one of the verses – from the partridge in a pear tree to the twelve drummers drumming.

The results are playful, colourful, and full of festive charm.
